Joy To Your World

Christmas is a time where we celebrate the Birth of our Savior! It seems people have lost sight of the ‘Reason for the Season.’ Holiday Cheers have Turned into Holiday Sneers.

The Promise of Joy

Luke 2:8-11 (NLT): That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. ‘Don’t be afraid!’ he said. ‘I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!’”

John 15:9-11 (NKJV): “’As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.’”

Psalm 16:11 (NKJV): “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Joy is a Gladness of Heart —-> Joy will make you smile, chuckle and laugh. Joy is a strong indication that The Lord is present. Psalm 144:15 (NKJV): “Happy are the people who are in such a state; Happy are the people whose God is the LORD!”  Psalm 34:5 (NLT): “Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.” No shame will darken your face any longer. You will radiate with joy—Let Joy be your portion.

The Power of Joy

Isaiah 12:3 (NKJV): “Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.” Joy is a covenant connection to our supernatural treasury. Without Joy it is impossible to draw the water from the well. No Joy No Water No Flourishing No Joy

Joel 1:12 (KJV): “The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.”  Lack of joy will dry up every fruit. ‘Languish’ = Lack of Vitality,

Strength → Making Feeble or Weak —-> No Strength

James 1:2-4 (NKJV): “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect

lacking nothing.”

The POWER OF JOY provides greatly for those who possess it – I lack nothing.

The POWER OF JOY will lead you out of every trouble.

The POWER OF JOY will end every trial

The POWER OF JOY will help you pass every test

Nehemiah 8:9-10 (NKJV): “And Nehemiah, who was the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, ‘This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn nor weep.’ For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the Law. Then he said to them, ‘Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.’”

In Closing, Nehemiah 8:11-12 (NKJV): “So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, ‘Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.’ And all the people went their way to eat and drink, to send portions and rejoice greatly, because they understood the words that were declared to them.”
